A quick note on lodging:

In addition to being a quick subway ride from Manhattan, Williamsburg and nearby Long Island City are flush with awesome restaurants, activities, and lodging options of their own.

For convenience’s sake, we recommend that all out of towners avoid staying in Manhattan and, instead, book Airbnbs or hotel rooms in Williamsburg or LIC for the weekend.
